EESTEC Olympics differs in its openness. The people at EESTEC always make sure that the participants have everything they need, even if it means dozens of sleepless hours. The theme of the hackathon is always original, and the competition part at the end is a real show, in which the teams compete to prove through the games implemented by the organizers that they have found a better or more practical solution.

I find it interesting at EESTEC Olympics that the theme is different from year to year and is only one hour before the competition. Another thing I like is the way the winners are named, through a team championship at the end of the competition, without the classic judging.

EESTEC Olympics is one of the most fun hackathons I've participated in. The editions I participated in ended with a championship, which is a unique experience, something I would like to see continues happening at EESTEC Olympics.

I was hoping that the theme would be something that would end with a championship and I was not disappointed, and the fact that it was in the field of Computer Vision was a pleasant surprise. Personally, it's a field I'm passionate about, but I'm sure those who aren't interested in Computer Vision have been hyped. The difficulty of the topic did not come from the actual writing of the code, but rather from finding the best possible solution. It was more engineering than programming, which was a good thing.
